Hi, I'm Sean, a Brisbane wedding filmmaker crafting cinematic, documentary-style films for couples who want to enjoy their wedding day, not act in it.
Worth knowing: many wedding video agencies book several weddings on the same day, then send whoever is free. The quality of who arrives can be very different to what you were promised. When you book me, you get me. The person you plan with is the one standing at your ceremony, and the one who edits your film.
A wedding day moves at lightning speed. The quiet deep breaths in the morning, the split-second look on your dad's face, the pause right before your vows, and the chaotic energy of the dance floor. Blink, and they become fading memories.
I don't believe in staging artificial moments, stopping you mid-laugh to "do it again," or turning your wedding into a film set. With over a decade of experience and 500+ weddings captured across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, and destinations beyond, I've learned where the real magic hides and how to capture it without interrupting it.
My approach is simple: I stay in the background so you can stay in the moment. The compliment I hear most from couples? "We forgot you were even there."

Good questions, honest answers
How far in advance should we book a wedding videographer?
Most couples book their wedding videographer 10 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season. Because we only film a limited number of weddings each year (Saturday being by far the most common date) to ensure the highest quality cinematic experience, prime dates fill up quickly. If your date is set and you have secured your venue, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible to check availability and lock in your favourite suppliers.
How would you describe your wedding videography style?
Our style is cinematic, narrative-driven, and documentary-focused. We blend candid, unscripted moments with high-end, visual storytelling. My focus is always on capturing real emotions without making your wedding day feel like a film set. Instead of overly staged poses, I let the day unfold naturally, focusing on high-fidelity audio, raw reactions, and timeless colour grading. The best memories are always real moments especially when you can look back at it all so vividly.
Do you travel for destination weddings, and how do travel fees work?
If you love my work I will find a way to be at your wedding day. I regularly film destination weddings across Australia and have also done a couple overseas. To make logistics simple, our local wedding pricing for travel is listed. If flights are involved we can always have a chat and work out the best value way to get it locked in.
How do you coordinate with our wedding photographer on the day?
Your photo and video team should be one collaborative unit. Before the wedding, if I have not worked with your photographer before, I will reach out and have a chat about the day and run sheet. I usually would be filming at the same time and locations as the photographer and always have a great time working with another creative.
Do you offer photo & video packages?
Yes, there are options to have both combined in a package and this would usually also give you better value as well. Let me know if this is something you are after and I can go through all the options.
How many weddings have you filmed?
Exact number is hard to know but over 15yrs it’s now well over 500. Majority of them are in the surrounding regions at venues like Maleny Manor, Yandina Station and many times at Gabbinbar Homestead.
